How to Edit a Listing

When you need to edit any of your listings, whether auction or classified, this guide will show you how to accomplish what you want to do with your ad.

After you click on the Edit icon from an Active Listing, you will be offered the following choices:

Each of these buttons has a specific function as described below:

  1. Edit Category
  2. Edit Details
  3. Edit Images
  4. Preview
  5. Cancel Edit
  6. Finished Editing

Edit Category

If you chose the wrong category for your listing (i.e. you chose elk hunting, but want the listing in moose hunting), you can use this option to change the category for your listing. You will be able to select from all of the categories that Hunters Domain offers to move your listing to.

Edit Details

If you wish to change any of the specific information of the listing such as the text, price or contact information, select this option. The standard listing form will be presented with your current listing as it is now displayed on Hunters Domain. See example below.

As you can see in the above image, the first thing you can change is the Title you chose for the listing.

The next area is the actual text of the listing you placed. A wysiwyg editor is provided, but you can change to a html editor if you are comfortable with html tags as shown in the image below.

By clicking on the words "Add or Remove Editor" you can change between html and WYSIWYG editing.

When you are finished editing the information for your listing, click on the Continue button at the bottom of the page. You will be taken back to the main editor window as shown below.

Click on the Finished Editing button to complete the changes to your listing.
