Using Our WYSIWYG Editor

Using a wysiwyg editor is fairly easy, and you can make a variety of changes in your text such as adding color, headings, bold or italic type, and underlining. The following guide will help you if you get stuck with the wysiwyg editor provided in our HuntersDomain website.

Adding Normal Text

You can type anything you want in the text area, and then make it look better by using the icons provided in the wysiwyg editor.

Adding Color to Text or Background

To add color to the text or background, it can be done in two ways: before you add the text, and after the text is added.

If you want to add color before you type the text, use the down arrow as shown in the image below to select your color choice, then add the text. If you want to add color after you have text added, you must use your cursor to 'select' the text you want to change, and then change the color to your choice using the text or background color icons in the editor window (shown below).

Adding Bold, Italics, Underline or Strikethrough

Adding bold, italics or underline is similar to adding color, and can also be done in the same two ways above - either prior to adding the text, or after you have added the text and have it selected or highlighted using your cursor.

Alignment of Text

Text can be either left aligned, centered, right aligned or justified (spread out to fill a boxlike area). This can be done either before or after text is entered. Use the 5th-8th icons in the top row of the wysiwyg editor to align your text.

Formatting Headers

You can make headers (stronger elements) for your advertisement by using the dropbox which says 'Format". The H1 element cannot be used, but H2, H3, H4 and H5 can be used to add 'topics' to your advertisements.

Bullet or Numerical Lists

You can add bullet lists or numerical lists by clicking on either the 1st or 2nd icon in the second row of icons in the wysiwyg editor.
